A Physical Therapist is needed for a contract position in Encinitas, CA, providing services two days a week from ASAP through May 31. This role supports students ranging from 7th grade through young adults up to 22 years old, offering a variety of essential therapy services within a school setting. Key Responsibilities: Deliver direct physical therapy services to students Conduct thorough assessments and testing to determine therapy needs Collaborate in IEP meetings to develop tailored therapy plans Prepare detailed reports documenting progress and recommendations Provide consultative support to educators and staff regarding student needs Desired Qualifications and Experience: Licensed Physical Therapist with applicable credentials Experience working with school-aged children, including middle school and young adults Skilled in direct service delivery, assessment, and IEP collaboration Strong communication skills for effective consulting and teamwork Ability to manage caseload efficiently and maintain accurate documentation Location: Encinitas, CA This position is based in a school environment, providing the opportunity to impact students developmental progress and educational success.
