Material Handler We are a fusion power company based in Everett, WA, with the mission to build the world's first fusion power plant, enabling a future with unlimited clean electricity. Our last prototype, Trenta, completed 10,000 high-power pulses and reached plasma temperatures of 100 million degrees Celsius (9 keV). We are now operating Polaris, our next prototype on the path to the world's first fusion power plant. This is a pivotal time to join Helion. What You Will Be Doing: The Material Handler will manage inventory to support our research and development, new products, and production. You will collaborate with Production, Operations, and Engineering with movement of parts to support our operations. You will report to the Inventory Control Supervisor at our Everett, WA office. You Will: Maintain clean, organized storage locations across the shipping, receiving, production lineside and storage areas Verify all materials are packaged and banded for transport Assist with loading and unloading trucks Work with Shipping and Receiving, Purchasing, and other related departments to resolve problems related to receipt and distribution of material Update material storage locations inside our MES software Operate material handling equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand carts Support first shift 6:00am to 2:30pm Support second shift 2:00pm to 10:30pm Required Skills: 2+ years of related experience Forklift operation experience Experience with part setup Ability to lift and carry 20 lbs. Lifting, standing, climbing, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, stretching, and carrying are generally required to perform the responsibilities of this position Must be willing to work in an open-air environment, lacking temperature control Can work overtime or weekends when needed to meet critical deadlines Benefits Our total compensation package includes benefits, including but not limited to: Medical, Dental, and Vision plans for employees and their families 31 Days of PTO (21 vacation days and 10 sick days) 10 Paid holidays, plus company-wide winter break Up to 5% employer 401(k) match Short term disability, long term disability, and life insurance Paid parental leave and support (up to 16 weeks) Annual wellness stipend Helion is an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
