HR Generalist Looking for a home-like work environment that has no agency and no mandating? Position Summary: Carry out human resources generalist responsibilities including recruitment, employee relations, and onboarding education. Essential Responsibilities: Creatively posts, promotes and advertises available employment opportunities internally and externally on social media platforms, job boards and other means that target the desired audience, while maintaining established brand and operating within approved budget. Assertively conduct detailed and timely prospecting and recruitment of external and internal qualified and high-quality candidates for non-exempt, non-clinical staff. Perform pre-employment checks including license and certification verification, reference checks, and criminal history screens. Assist with new employee orientation, attend career fairs and hiring events, maintain various job boards and place ads utilizing various forms of media venues. Proactively source potential applicants through networking. Create and maintain a pipeline of prospective applicants. Ensure personnel file compliance with company policy and government regulations. Assist in carrying out various human resources plans, programs, policies and procedures. Perform support tasks and projects including filing, packet assembly, photocopying, employee communication projects, etc. Fully understands, supports and adheres to all Resthaven policies and procedures. Promotes opportunities for advanced employee satisfaction and assists with employee events, programs and initiatives. Establish and maintain professional and effective working relationships with management, staff, residents, families, and the public. Facilitates the publishing and distribution of the internal employee newsletter. Assumes all other position related responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications: Bachelor degree in Human Resources Management or related field. Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion. Effective organizational skills and attention to detail with a high level of accuracy Effective and tactful written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage own time and work effectively with minimal supervision, while following Resthaven policies and procedures. Nonessential Responsibilities: Rewrites job descriptions as necessary. Participates in meetings related to Human Resources issues. Serve as back up to the Human Resources Coordinator. Performs related job duties as needed. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, management, residents, resident's families, and the public. Experience: Knowledge of the use and applications of various computer programs, specifically Excel, Word, Publisher, and PowerPoint.
