Medicaid Billing Supervisor

DescriptionCareer Details: We are seeking a passionate Ohio Medicaid Billing Supervisor to oversee day-to-day billing, payment posting, and follow-up operations for Ohio Medicaid fee-for-service and managed care plans. In this role you will ensure accurate, timely claims submission, proactive denial prevention/resolution, and compliance with Ohio Department of Medicaid (ODM) requirements. You will lead a team of billers/AR specialists, drive KPI performance, partners with payers and internal stakeholders, and continuously improve workflows and controls. RequirementsRequired Qualifications: 3-5 years of medical/behavioral health billing and AR experience, with 2+ focused on Ohio Medicaid 1-3 years of supervisory experience Knowledge of ODM/PNM & MITS, EVV, EDI, NCCI, COB/TPL Proficiency with EHR/PM systems; Excel skills Strong coding knowledge Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree Certifications such as CRCR, CMRS, CPC, CPB a plus Behavioral health coding experience Experience with major Ohio Medicaid managed care plans Familiarity with MyCare Ohio and authorization workflows
