Noise level is usually moderateSummary: As a swim instructor, you will instruct students on water safety and proper swim techniques based on thorough knowledge of the Goldfish Swim School curriculum. After each 30 minute lesson, you communicate progress (and celebrate the accomplishments!) with parents and caregivers. As a lifeguard, you will maintain constant surveillance of patrons in the facility; acts immediately and appropriately to secure safety of guests in the event of an accident or emergencyDuties and Responsibilities for Swim Instructor/Lifeguard:Provide swim instruction based on the Goldfish Swim School curriculumEducate students on safety rules and regulations to prevent accidentsEvaluate students’ progress, and complete required paperwork in a timely mannerProvides emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical servicesEnsures that medical services are contacted by most appropriate means when necessary to respond to an emergencyAdvance through cross-training in multiple roles and substitutes when necessaryInteract with parents/guardians on the activities and development of students’ swim skillsUse problem-solving and creative thinking skills to identify and resolve challenges that students encounterMaintain and ensure proper storage of all pool equipment.
