Histotechnician

Histotechnician Under supervision will function as a technician mainly in Histology and may rotate in other areas of the laboratory performing patient care testing as needed. Perform duties that may include; running various laboratory instrumentation, performing manual testing, specimen receiving and processing; computer related duties such as patient entry, test request entry/requisition format, quality control, reagent preparation, following general laboratory and safety procedures including universal precautions and chemical and biochemical hazard precautions.
