Team Leader

Join The Peach Truck as a Team Leader and play a key on-site leadership role within your local market. You will support the Market Leader and Assistant Market Leader by leading small groups of team members, executing daily operations, and ensuring a consistent, high-quality customer experience at every stop.This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who enjoys staying active, working outdoors, and taking ownership of assigned tasks while helping guide and motivate others. Team Leaders help keep operations running smoothly, step in to support when leadership is unavailable, and provide exceptional service to our customers.This seasonal role is primarily based within your assigned market area, with occasional travel that may require overnight stays.Responsibilities:Support Leadership & ExecutionServe as a support leader to the Assistant Market Leader by taking ownership of assigned tasks and leading small groups of team members to complete daily objectives.Step in to guide the team when the  Assistant Market Leader is unavailable or focused on higher-level responsibilities.Team Direction & Task ManagementAssign tasks to team members, provide clear instructions, and ensure work is completed accurately and on time.Monitor team performance during stops and provide real-time feedback and supportCustomer ExperienceLead by example in delivering friendly, efficient, and professional customer service.Help maintain a positive, high-energy team culture focused on customer satisfaction.Setup & OperationsSupport the setup and teardown of each stop, including organizing tables, tents, signage, and equipment (50+ lbs).Ensure stops are executed according to operational standards and brand expectations.Problem Solving & AdaptabilityIdentify issues during stops (staffing gaps, setup challenges, customer concerns) and take initiative to resolve or escalate them appropriately.Driving & TransportationSafely operate rental vehicles and assist with transportation of team members and equipment as assigned.Qualifications:Must be 21 years of age or older and authorized to work in the United States.Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.Comfortable with a non-traditional, flexible schedule, including weekends (mandatory during the season).Previous experience in retail, hospitality, operations, or a lead/mentor role preferred.Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and maintain physical stamina across long, consecutive workdays in varying weather conditions.Strong communication skills with the ability to guide, motivate, and support peers in a team environment.Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, problem-solve, and make sound decisions while following direction in a fast-paced environment.Strong customer service mindset with experience in upselling, cross-selling, and customer education.Comfortable using mobile tools and technology for communication and task management.Willingness and ability to travel throughout the season, including overnight and multi-day stays across state lines.The Peach Truck is a dynamic and rapidly growing company that specializes in delivering fresh, high-quality peaches directly from farmers to customers across the United States.
