Anesthesia Technician II - Anesthesiology

JOB SUMMARY:Performs duties as unlicensed assistive personnel under the supervision of the RN operating roomcirculator the direction of the anesthesiologist and/or the Endoscopist. Provides assistance to thelicensed anesthesia and provider in various settings and performs additional duties in EndoscopyTechnician role to broaden staff development opportunities at RCHSD. Responsible for organizing,maintaining, and supporting anesthesia patient care. Demonstrates understanding of patientanatomy. Coordinates appropriate supplies and equipment based on the patient's age, size anddevelopmental level. Responsible for regulatory compliance, staffing, supply inventory and ordering,coordinating daily assignments. Reports concerns and issues to the supervisor/manager.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:High School Diploma, GED or Foreign Equivalent3 years of experienceCurrent BLS for Healthcare Providers, issued by American Heart AssociationMust be able to speak, read and write EnglishPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:5 years of experienceNational Certified Anesthesia TechnicianPALS certifiedPrevious Anesthesia Tech II experienceGraduate from an Accredited Anesthesia Technician ProgramGTS Certification within two years of trainingAnesthesia tech II - 3 years minimum experience as anesthesia tech10hr rotating shifts, 80 hrs per pay period.The current salary range for this position is $32.63 to $45.41A candidate's placement in the range will be determined based on the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
