Scheduling Coordinator SYNERGY HomeCare of Santa Monica is looking to hire a Scheduling Coordinator! Do you: Have the ability to coordinate and manage caregiver schedules to ensure optimal client care coverage? Match caregivers with clients based on skillsets, availability, and client preferences? Ability to communicate effectively with clients and caregivers regarding schedules, changes, and any pertinent information, keeping cultural sensitivity top of mind? We are currently seeking a Scheduling Coordinator to join our nationally recognized agency, which is independently owned and operated. Must haves: One year experience in a home care care setting (preferred) High School Diploma or GED equivalent Driver's License and Vehicle Proof of current 2-Step TB testing (Or Ability to Obtain) First Aid and CPR Certified (Or Ability to Obtain) Must be bondable Meet or exceed minimum qualifications for the following: A criminal background check (National and required by state) Professional and Personal Reference Check Must be physically able to perform the functions of this position Have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and proof of sufficient automobile insurance (when applicable) Satisfactorily complete SYNERGY HomeCare Orientation and online training modules as assigned Have the ability to learn and possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Have the ability to learn and possess good organizational skills Bonus Consideration: Candidates with 2+ years of caregiving experience will receive bonus consideration. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Schedule and manage caregiver shifts for optimal care. Respond daily to any caregiver inquiries via text or email before clocking out for the day. Match caregivers with clients based on skills, preferences, and personalities. Utilize scheduling software for efficient schedule management. Resolve scheduling conflicts and emergencies. Build and maintain strong relationships with our caregiver population. Confirm Caregiver schedules and availability weekly Maintain communication with all caregivers weekly (ensure you have a clear understanding of who is available to cover shifts at any given time) Partner with the Director of Care Management to complete biweekly Caregiver Orientations Be willing and able to cover shifts as a backup Caregiver in the event to replace any available caregiver for a shift.
