Warehouse Associate

Warehouse Associate Coworx Staffing Services is looking for a reliable and motivated Warehouse Associate to join our operations team. In this role, you'll be a key part of ensuring freight moves safely, accurately, and on time. You'll work alongside an experienced management team that understands the transportation industry and values teamwork, safety, and performance. Responsibilities: Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including unloading trucks and checking in merchandise Match purchase orders to sales orders and distribute orders for processing Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, and requisitions to determine items to be moved or shipped Assemble products and participate in inventory counts as needed Ensure the warehouse remains clean, accessible, and safe for employees and customers Monitor daily pickups and deliveries to confirm loads arrive on time and in good condition Take check calls from drivers and verify load data before marking deliveries complete for accounting purposes Complete all work in accordance with safety policies and procedures Desired Background/Skills: Basic written and verbal communication skills Basic computer skills Ability to think critically and follow written, verbal, or diagram-based instructions Availability to work flexible schedules, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends as freight volumes vary Preferred Qualifications: Previous dock or warehouse experience in the transportation industry Experience loading and unloading trailers Experience using handheld scanners Ability to load and unload trucks regularly Other Information: Schedules available Mon -Fri 11am-7:30pm Tue-Sat 8am-4:30pm Steel toed shoes required Don't miss out on this excellent opportunity to join a hardworking, supportive team- apply with us today to get started!
