Your Role: Business Insurance Analytics Specialist As a Business Insurance (BI) Analytics Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting our National BI Analytics Leader to execute MMA's analytics strategy, which is crucial for enhancing client retention and driving growth. You will analyze valuable data, produce insightful reports, and provide actionable recommendations that align with our brand values. Use your analytical skills to help in research, create innovative digital solutions, and offer advisory services to both colleagues and clients. Analytics Responsibilities: Identify trends in claims data using analytical tools to enhance safety, claims management, and risk management strategies. Assist in negotiations with underwriters to secure favorable terms. Support clients in justifying collateral reductions. Predict future losses based on data trends using actuarial methodologies. Guide clients on the best insurance program options for their needs. Collaborate in the research and development of new tools and deliverables. Enable clients to budget accurately for loss-sensitive programs. Join Producers and Account Executives in client meetings to explain analytical tools and findings. Partner with National Business Insurance teams to drive group initiatives. Showcase measurable outcomes achieved for clients. Client Service Execution: Collaborate with Producers, Account Executives, service teams, and internal departments to create and implement customized service strategies for each client. Analyze risk, coverage, and program structure to recommend optimal options. Adopt an enterprise-wide approach to client service by working with other teams for a seamless experience. Manage time effectively to prioritize requests and streamline business processes. Thought Leadership: Act as a technical expert in analytics, providing resources to account team members and clients. Collaborate with regional analytics resources to share best practices. Assist in presenting educational materials to keep account team staff informed on analytical capabilities. About You: We’re excited to meet candidates with: A BS/BA in insurance & risk management, actuarial science, business administration, accounting, finance, economics, mathematics, or statistics. 2 to 5 years of experience in insurance analytics. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Additional Qualifications (not mandatory): Experience in Property & Casualty underwriting with a focus on analytics. Property & Casualty actuarial expertise. Familiarity with property & casualty insurance analytics concepts and tools. The base salary range for this role is $67,500 to $125,800, based on various factors including experience and skills. Additionally, this position may offer performance-based incentives.
