Job Description Join Oracle's Forward Deployed Engineer team as a Senior Software Development Engineer focused on our cutting-edge AI Data Solutions. In this pivotal role, you will help global clients maximize the potential of their data by providing expert architectural guidance in designing, optimizing, and scaling modern AI/ML-centric data platforms. Collaborating with enterprise customers, product management, and engineering, you will play a crucial role in the seamless adoption of Oracle's AI Data Platform and Gen AI services, as well as related cloud technologies. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities: Harness your strong data engineering and data science experience with technologies such as Spark, PySpark, Delta Lake, and MLOps to create impactful solutions. Implement full stack development solutions, from web app development and RESTful APIs to deployment. Design, implement, and maintain scalable software components to support AI/ML workloads effectively. Develop APIs, SDKs, and automation frameworks that streamline the deployment of Oracle AI Data Platform and Gen AI services. Enhance the performance, scalability, and reliability of distributed data and AI systems. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to address and resolve complex technical challenges. Engage in code reviews, testing, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices to ensure top-quality deliverables. Document technical designs and actively participate in knowledge-sharing initiatives through blogs and demos. Stay ahead of the curve by exploring new tools, frameworks, and best practices in AI, cloud, and data engineering. Primary Skills: Experience with LLMs and frameworks such as MCP and LangChain. Knowledge of RAG pipelines and vector databases. Familiarity with OCI Gen AI Services and model lifecycle workflows. Solid skills in Python and REST API development. Experience building autonomous agents and orchestration pipelines. Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and Big Data Services. Proficient in big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka. Capability to design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient data architectures. Expertise in managing and optimizing large-scale databases. A solid understanding of networking concepts essential for optimizing data transmission networks. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. A commitment to continuous learning in the evolving field of big data technologies. Desirable Skills: Experience working with multiple cloud platforms. Certification in Data Platform or a related field. Compensation and Benefits: The hiring range for this position is $79,200 to $178,100 per annum, with potential eligibility for bonuses and equity.
