Flight Software - Associate (Spring 2026) Associate programs at Astranis typically last for twelve weeks, and are salaried roles designed for new grads and graduate students who have graduated from a four-year university. As an Associate, you will have an amazing opportunity to work on hard problems we pride ourselves on giving everyone at Astranis a chance to do meaningful work on challenging projects, no matter their seniority. Many past associates have designed and tested hardware/software that is heading to space on our first satellite, and many of them are now full-time employees at Astranis. Role Work with the engineering team to design, write and test software (embedded software running on satellites, as well as variety of ground control and testing software) Requirements Currently hold a B.S. or pursuing M.S. in Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or equivalent technical degree Experience with C/C++ and scripting language(s) Demonstrated ability to personally design, write, and test software from scratch US Citizenship or Green Card 40 hours per week minimum Must be onsite in San Francisco 5 days a week Don't meet them all?
