2nd Shift Diesel Technician

Borden Hauling is excited to announce an opportunity for a Diesel Technician - 2nd Shift. Join our dedicated team and work closely with the Maintenance Manager to ensure the safety and efficiency of our truck fleet and equipment. Generous 401(K) matching to help you save for the future. Key Responsibilities: Diagnose mechanical issues in suspension, brake, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Perform repairs and maintenance on diesel, CNG, and gasoline vehicles, including front-end loaders, roll-off trucks, and rear-loaders—addressing hydraulic, brake, electrical, and suspension systems, as well as wheel and tire issues. Interpret vehicle condition reports and repair orders effectively. Complete electronic repair orders in our maintenance software for vehicle repairs and parts documentation. Respond to emergency road calls for on-site truck repairs. Utilize diagnostic software, technical manuals, and your mechanical knowledge to solve problems. Adhere to all safety protocols and actively participate in safety training and meetings. Perform other tasks as assigned to support our team. Qualifications: Must possess a valid driver’s license. Willingness to work in all weather conditions. Ability to lift at least 50 lbs repeatedly. Experience in the waste management industry is preferred for first-shift roles.
