Security Assistance Manager Help plan, direct, control, and coordinate Security Assistance and Security Cooperation activities and functions throughout assigned area to by managing the life cycle of Foreign Military Sales cases, from initiation to closure. Manage assigned workload amongst team members to complete assigned project or tasks, to the established or specified standard, by the designated suspense, and within the prescribed resource constraints. Provide advice to various levels of US and foreign organizations om accordance with key regulatory frameworks concerning Security Assistance and Security Cooperation programs, methods, and techniques affecting country-to-country support. Plan, prioritize, assign, review, and accept or reject the work of subordinates. Align the work unit's Foreign Military Sales technical activities with the Security Assistance Enterprise/ Army Security Assistance Enterprise resources, DoD SAE prioritization, and Geographic Combatant Command theatre campaign strategies and plans. In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) Overseeing logistics and supply program management support to Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers to meet requirements and deadlines; 2) Monitoring case performance to ensure compatibility with functional areas of procurement, maintenance, supply, and financial accounting; AND 3) Distributing workload among team members to meet suspense's while ensuring their actions are accurate and in accordance with organizational policies. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
