Founded in 2017, Hello Neighbor works to improve the lives of recently resettled refugee families by matching them with dedicated neighbors to guide and support them in their new home. Weve expanded from our mentorship program to now include refugee resettlement services, family service programs, a national program supporting other refugee and immigrant nonprofits around the country. Hello Neighbor is seeking a Part-Time, In-House Cleaner (Non-Exempt) for our Pittsburgh office in Larimer, PA. This on-site role supports the daily cleanliness and upkeep of our busy nonprofit office, open MondayFriday, 9:00 AM5:00 PM. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States.Reports To: Director of FinanceKey ResponsibilitiesRoutine Cleaning & UpkeepTidy and reset common areas and meeting spacesEmpty dishwasher and put away clean dishes as neededEmpty trash and recycling in common areas and restroomsRestock supplies in kitchens and restrooms, including paper goods and soapDeep Cleaning & SanitationMop hard floors; sweep and vacuum carpeted areasClean and sanitize shared desks, counters, tables, and high-touch surfacesClean baseboards, door frames, and wall surfaces as neededClean interior glass surfaces, including doors, windows, and conference room partitionsKitchen MaintenanceClean and sanitize kitchen counters, sinks, appliances, and shared surfacesRestock kitchen supplies as neededRemove expired food from shared refrigerators weeklySanitize refrigerator interiors monthlyRestroom CleaningClean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and high-touch surfacesRestock restroom supplies, including toilet paper, paper towels, and soapPlant Care & Light MaintenanceWater office plants according to established schedulesPerform basic plant maintenance, including removing dead leaves and monitoring plant healthNotify Operations or Facilities staff if plants require additional care or replacementSchedule & HoursPart-time, in-house role (approximately 1016 hours per week)Suggested Schedule:Part-time daytime hours.
