Biller Position Wilson Sonsini is seeking a biller to join our growing finance team. The primary function of the role is to prepare and edit prebills and generate client invoices. This position can be a hybrid work schedule. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Support monthly billing cycle. Process prebill revisions, including edit, transfer and write-off of time, and ensure compliance with firm and client billing policies and procedures. Ensure application of client guidelines, procedures, and other special billing requirements. Maintain records of special billing instructions for attorneys and clients. Work closely with the firm finance team to streamline and improve the billing process. Support special projects as required. Education and/or Work Experience Requirements: Bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum of 5 years prior experience in high volume/dollar, automated, law firm finance role in billing. Experience with Aderant or other legal finance software required. Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office Word, Excel and Outlook). Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external clients. Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service. Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion. within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices. Customer service focused. The primary location for this job posting is in Palo Alto, but other locations may be listed. The actual base pay offered will depend upon a variety of factors, including but not limited to the selected candidate's qualifications, years of relevant experience, level of education, professional certifications and licenses, and work location. The anticipated pay range for this position is as follows: Palo Alto, San Francisco: $29.83 - $40.36 per hour. Seattle, Washington, D.C.: $26.97 - $36.49 per hour. The compensation for this position may include overtime and a discretionary year-end merit bonus based on performance. We offer a highly competitive salary and benefits package.
