After 30-90 days of working in office, this person will have an option to work from home. The Inside Claims Adjuster is responsible for evaluating and processing insurance claims related to physical damage on vehicles. In this role you will be managing appraisal resources, third party claims professionals and interacting with the insured daily. You will be responsible for claims initiation, investigation, follow up all the way through to settlement of loss. Key Responsibilities: Claims Investigation & Assessment Investigate claims and apply coverage as provided in policy. Determine the extent of damage and confirm coverage eligibility based on policy terms. Utilize estimating software (CCC ONE, Audatex, Mitchell) to generate repair estimates. Customer Interaction & Communication Communicate with policyholders to explain claim processes and settlement decisions. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns. Coordinate with body shops, dealerships, and third-party vendors to facilitate repairs. Negotiation & Settlement Review and validate repair estimates from shops to ensure fair and accurate settlements. Negotiate claim payouts with policyholders and repair facilities while adhering to insurance guidelines. Ensure claims are processed in a timely and cost-effective manner. Compliance & Reporting Maintain detailed and accurate claim documentation, including photos, estimates, and reports. Ensure compliance with insurance regulations, company policies, and industry best practices. Stay updated on state and federal guidelines related to insurance claims and auto repairs Qualifications & Skills: High school diploma or equivalent 4 + years of experience in auto claims adjusting, hail damage assessments, or catastrophe (CAT) claims. Adjuster license (where required) and knowledge of insurance policies. Proficiency in estimating software (CCC ONE, Audatex, Mitchell) and digital claims platforms. Strong understanding of hail-related auto damage and repair processes, including PDR. Excellent customer service, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and efficiently in high-volume, fast-paced environments. Other Duties as Assigned Physical Job Requirements Continuous viewing from and inputting data to a computer screen Sedentary position; minimal physical demand Role involves sitting most of the workday with occasional walking and standing Lifting is typically limited to light objects (up to 10 lbs) Remote or office-based role with standard business hours; overtime may be required during peak hail seasons. Fast-paced environment requires high accuracy and attention to detail. Drug Policy All applicants being considered for employment must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and geographic location. The starting compensation is expected to be: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00/Year We offer a competitive & comprehensive benefit package including: paid time off, medical, dental, vision, and 401k match (50% on the dollar up to 7% of employee contribution).
