The Diet Aide’s day-to-day work includes routinely setting up, clearing and cleaning and resetting dining room. You would be taking menu orders and serving residents and guests meals in a timely and gracious manner. You will be providing quality customer service to residents and guests. Schedule: Part-Time, PM Shift: 3:30PM - 7:30PM , availability on evenings, weekends, and holidays is a requirement. Compensation: $19.58 to $20.05 hour, depending on experience To be successful in this role, you would have: Minimum of 6 months of experience as Diet Aide required. Experience in food industry and with seniors preferred. Food Handlers Certification or enrollment in the certification course preferred. High school Level diploma or equivalent. Responsibilities: Work on a tray line Serving food to residents, ensuring dietary restrictions are followed Provides food and tray delivery to the assisted living and/or skilled care center residents Sets up and cleans dining room Maintains or exceeding hospitality and service standards. Assures timely meal delivery and plate preparation. If you are interested in Dietetics or Dietary Management, this is a great opportunity to learn how to navigate therapeutic and texture-modified diets and serve food accordingly. Work under a RD/CDM. Learn and practice local/federal regulatory requirements regarding food safety and sanitation, nutrition, etc. What's in it for you?
