Assignment Overview Specialty: Critical Care Medicine NP/PA Start Date: April 6, 2026 Estimated Need: 20 shifts per month Schedule: Sunday Saturday Shift Length: 12-hour shifts (Day & Night available) Call: None Minimum Availability: 4+ consecutive shifts required Weekend-Only Availability: Accepted Practice Environment Current ICU capacity: 14 beds (expansion planned) APP collaborates with on-site physicians, other APPs, and e-ICU team Structured team-based model provider will not work solo EMR: EPIC Clinical Responsibilities Manage 5 10 critically ill patients per shift Participate in ICU rounds at 10:00 AM and 10:00 PM Deliver high-quality critical care in a collaborative environment Procedures Include: Central Venous Catheter (CVC) placement Arterial line placement Hemodialysis (HD) line placement +/- Intubations (based on skill and comfort level) Requirements Board Certified Active Illinois License DEA CSR ACLS & BLS Minimum 1 year of experience Will NOT consider IMLC-only candidates Travel Covered Mileage (personal vehicle) Airfare Lodging Parking Rental car & fuel Ground transportation Contact Information Cheryl Weisenberg Senior Clinical Recruiter WPA Medicine Staffing, LLC
