2nd Shift Assembler

Job Title Job description/duties: Assemble products including standard, prototype, and experimental units from drawings or instructions. Operate machines such as riveters, air ratchets, presses, and testers. Set up jobs and perform fixture/process changeovers. Inspect parts and assemblies for quality; perform first-piece and routine inspections. Document production data, including part numbers, lot numbers, heat numbers, and inspection results. Handle defective parts according to quality standards; complete scrap tags and report issues. Support and train other assemblers across multiple production cells. Prepare finished units for shipment. Demonstrate teamwork and professional conduct, taking ownership of problems and helping others when needed.
