Job Opportunity Come work at the best place to give and receive care! Job Description This is a Part Time 12 hour shift! Experienced Registered Nurse ICU Who We Are The Intensive Care Unit is a 16-bed unit with an average census of 12 patients. We are comprised of roughly 50 employees with Nurse-to-Patient Ratios of 1:2 (1:1 for CRRT and balloon pump care) with 2 LNA on days and 1 LNA on nights. The typical patient population consists of adults 17 & older with the following conditions: trauma, respiratory, surgical, neuro, sepsis, ARDS, and pulmonary. About the Job The ICU Registered Nurse delivers care to patients and families with needs ranging from basic to complex utilizing the nursing process. Creates a therapeutic and caring environment for patient and families. Practices in a manner consistent with the Elliot Hospital Interprofessional Practice model; the ANA's Social Policy Statement, Scope and Standards of Practice, and the Nursing Code of Ethics; and relevant specialty standards of practice. Demonstrates competent clinical practice utilizing clinical decision making and critical thinking skills. Who You Are Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred. Current New Hampshire, compact, or multistate licensure as Registered Nurse required. Ability to obtain BLS qualification during orientation period and maintain during employment. ACLS preferred.
