Responsibilities Work in a Neuro ICU within a hospital setting Care for neurological intensive care patients including those with EVDs/lumbar drains and subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) Day shifts, 3x12 hours from 7:00 to 19:30 Epic EMR is used Floating to other qualified units and campuses within a reasonable radius may be required Must be prepared to float only to units for which competencies are documented Team supports strong clinical skill development in neuro critical care Holiday coverage may be required according to hospital needs Strong consideration given only to candidates with solid recent Neuro ICU experience A copy of driver’s license may be requested for credentialing Requirements Active SC or compact RN license required Minimum one year of recent Neuro ICU experience Experience caring for patients with EVDs/lumbar drains and SAH required Current NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required At least one year of experience with Epic EMR Must reside at least 100 miles from any Prisma facility for travel eligibility, or at least 50 miles for ICU assignments Two professional references required for consideration Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-673774.
