Manufacturing Assembler

Manufacturing Technician The Manufacturing Technician works in flow control assembly and surface finishing of the stainless valve components. Responsibilities Follow detailed manufacturing and assembly procedures. Follows process order requirements for assembly and verification. Operates small hand and power tools to assemble products. Train new personnel on manufacturing procedures. Communicate all pertinent information and advise direct Supervisor of any problems. Identifies quality problems and follows reporting procedures. Actively participates in team activities and the accomplishment of team goals. Responsible for accurately completing and processing all documents necessary for tracking operations, including databases. Understand drawings and standard work instructions and apply them according to job specifications. Performs surface finishing activities; deburring, sand blasting and electropolishing. Comply with Good Documentation Practices when creating, documenting, and reviewing quality records. Follow good manufacturing practices per company operating procedures. Clean and organize workbenches before and after shift. Supports other Operations Departments processes; Shipping and Inventory as needed. May serve on cross-functional teams to address key operational issues. Perform other duties as assigned or required by Mfg. Leads/Supervisors. Perform other duties as assigned by Management. Other duties may be assigned. Qualifications High school diploma/G.E.D or equivalent required. 2-4 years related experience preferred. Due to the nature of the work and compliance with safety protocols/regulations, fluency in English (reading and writing) is required. Regular and predictable on-site attendance. Ability to work non-standard schedule as needed. Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is expected to: Moderate work Exerting up to 40 lbs of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs of force frequently, and/or 10 lbs force constantly to move objects. The estimated hourly rate/salary range for this role, based in the United States of America is $19.00-$21.00. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to an individual's qualifications, location, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
