Maintenance Technician This position involves performing maintenance tasks, both reactive and preventive, for our equipment. The role is evenly split between addressing unexpected repair needs and conducting scheduled preventive maintenance tasks. Responsibilities Perform reactive maintenance on hydraulic and pneumatic components of slitter and roll grinding machines. Conduct fabrication work such as welding parts or brackets onto machines to ensure proper repair. Work comfortably with 3-phase 480v motors, replacing sensors and performing necessary repairs. Carry out preventive maintenance tasks, which include replacing motors and greasing bearings. Essential Skills Three years of experience with hydraulic systems. Three years of experience with pneumatic systems. Experience working with 3-phase 480v electrical systems. Ability to work with sensors. Proficiency in welding and fabrication work. Ability to read and interpret technical prints. Experience in performing preventive maintenance tasks. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous experience with coil systems. Understanding of PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Carlisle, IN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $34.00/hr.
