Construction Project Leader

Job Description Join a highly respected and award-winning General Contractor as a Construction Project Leader. The Construction Project Leader will provide essential leadership for the successful execution of Commercial Construction projects. You will guide your project team with a strong focus on customer satisfaction, clear communication, and high expectations. Key Responsibilities: Work closely with the Estimating team during the Preconstruction phase. Interpret and analyze Construction Plans and Specifications. Mentor less experienced Project Management staff on essential project management tasks. Build and nurture long-term relationships with Owners, Architects, Engineers, and Subcontractors to secure future project opportunities. Supervise Subcontractor and Vendor procurement processes, including contract writing and reviews. Lead the resolution of drawing interpretation challenges, conflicts, and errors. Manage the processing of Submittals, RFI's, Change Order Proposals, Owner Billings, and Monthly Reports. Ensure timely Owner Billings by verifying work-in-place quantities from Subcontractors and Suppliers. Oversee the accurate forecasting of project costs at completion. Take charge of the creation and monitoring of Project Schedules with regular progress updates. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience or relevant certifications will also be considered. 5+ years of experience managing commercial/light industrial projects. Solid understanding of building systems and construction methods. Strong financial management skills with the ability to independently oversee all aspects of a project from start to finish.
