Details for the position are as follows: 10 month contract to start with the possibility of extension or conversion depending on performance and business needs. Rate:60-64 an hour. Location: Andover, MA Job Description: Serve as statistical authority across all stages of clinical evidence generation Provide strategic input on study design, analysis plans, and interpretation Champion innovative methodologies and ensure rigor, quality, and portfolio-wide consistency Mentor and technically review statisticians within the Orthopedic Reconstruction & Robotics pod Align statistical approaches with regulatory expectations, scientific best practices, and business priorities Provide expert guidance on clinical studies and registries, including sample size estimation, randomization, adaptive/hybrid designs, and simulation-based planning Define study type, endpoints, estimands, and analysis frameworks in partnership with Clinical Operations, Data, Medical Affairs, and Clinical Strategy Oversee complex analyses using appropriate methods (e.g., survival analysis, mixed-effects models, Bayesian frameworks, causal inference, propensity score methods) Ensure high standards of quality, validation, and reproducibility for all statistical deliverables Guide effective use of SAS, R, and emerging analytical tools to modernize workflows Provide technical oversight for data cleaning, derivation, and integration in collaboration with Data Management, Programming, and Data Science Establish and enforce quality control standards across the portfolio Required Skills: MS degree at a minimum with 5+ years of experience as a Clinical Statistician in an academic or industry setting // PhD (preferred) and 2 years Proven leadership of statistical activities within a matrixed environment Demonstrated expertise in study design, advanced modeling, and statistical programming (SAS, R) Strong knowledge of regulatory and clinical research standards (e.g., FDA, ISO 14155) Excellent communication skills with ability to explain statistical reasoning to non-statistical audience Demonstrated ability to mentor and elevate technical capability of peers and junior staff Experience with simulation, causal inference, and registry data analysis preferred #LI-KJ1 By applying for this job, you agree to receive calls, AI-generated calls, text messages, or emails from and its affiliates, and contracted partners.
