Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Pathologists' Assistant Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 37.5 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel SHIFT TIMES: 9a-5p or 10a-6p Monday-Friday alternating weekends WORK SITE: 270-05 76th Ave, New Hyde Park, NY 11040 PATHOLOGISTS’ ASSISTANT Required: NYS License as a Pathologists’ Assistant; ASCP Preferred: Experience with complex cancer specimens Brand new grossing room with 10 stations (and windows) Exakt bone saw Biopsies and complex specimens with the opportunity to gross across a broad or narrow range of cases. 40k cases annually, including all subspecialties (Breast, GI, GU, Head & Neck, Pediatric, Bone and Soft tissue, etc.) Adults & peds Voicebrook dictation system About LanceSoft Established in 2000, LanceSoft is a Certified MBE and Woman-Owned organization.
