Were looking for part-time Engagement Specialists to help lead dynamic, hands-on STE(A)M programs that inspire K-12 youth. Program DeliveryFacilitate engaging, hands-on STEM and arts-based lessons for groups of 2050 K12 studentsGuide students through design challenges and project-based learning experiencesAlign sessions with STE(A)M Trucks educational mission and learning outcomes2. Event SupportAssist with setup and breakdown of materials, tools, and equipmentHelp maintain positive energy, safety, and engagement throughout programmingCollaborate with team members and volunteers to deliver high-quality experiences3. Youth EngagementBuild meaningful relationships with students to boost confidence and creativityMaintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all learnersRespond to student needs and behavior with empathy and professionalism4. Logistical SupportKeep program materials organized and ready for each sessionHelp manage pacing, transitions, and activity flow during sessions5. Team CollaborationWork closely with fellow educators and staff to meet program goalsShare feedback on activities to help improve impact and student engagement QualificationsEducation: Degree in education, STEM, arts, or youth development.Experience:At least 1 year working with youth in a classroom, afterschool, or camp settingExperience leading STEM or hands-on enrichment activities preferredSkills:Confident classroom management and group facilitationStrong communication and rapport-building with youthComfort with tools, tech, or creative materials (training provided)Organized, flexible, and enthusiastic RequirementsState teaching certificationAbility to lift and carry up to 25 pounds (materials and equipment).Flexibility to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, and occasional weekends.Reliable, transportation to travel to engagement sites across metro Atlanta area as needed.
