Position Summary The Dental Hygienist will provide high-quality preventive dental care, educate patients on oral hygiene practices, and support the dental team in delivering exceptional hands on care. Key Responsibilities Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing procedures Assist dentists during examinations and treatments as needed Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays) Conduct oral cancer screenings Administer fluoride treatments and preventive care services Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care Maintain accurate and thorough patient documentation and charting Sterilize instruments and maintain equipment using proper aseptic techniques Ensure compliance with OSHA and infection control standards Collaborate effectively with dentists, dental assistants, and office staff Qualifications Active Dental Hygienist license (state-specific requirements apply) Previous experience in a dental office preferred Proficiency with Dentrix or Epic software is a plus Strong knowledge of general dentistry procedures Familiarity with dental imaging and patient record management Excellent communication and patient education skills Detail-oriented with strong documentation abilities Commitment to maintaining high standards of infection control Why Join Express Healthcare Staffing?
