Medical Assistant Position We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our dermatology office in Collegeville, PA. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in a clinical setting. This position involves assisting healthcare professionals with various tasks, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation of the clinic while delivering exceptional service to patients. The week will be four days per week, ten-hour shifts from 7am-6pm. The hourly pay is $19-22/hour. Duties Assist healthcare providers during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety. Perform routine clinical tasks, including taking vital signs, administering medications, and conducting basic life support as needed. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations. Provide education to patients regarding their treatment plans and health maintenance. Support geriatric patients by understanding their specific needs and providing appropriate care. Ensure the clinic environment is clean, organized, and conducive to patient care. Collaborate with other medical staff to enhance patient service and improve overall clinic operations. Skills Strong knowledge of patient care protocols and practices. Proficiency in taking vital signs and performing basic life support techniques. Two or more years of Medical Assistant experience. Ability to administer medications accurately and safely. Solid understanding of anatomy to assist in various medical procedures effectively. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Dermatology a plus.
