A Brief Overview Drive strategic impact across Safelite's iconic brand as a Global Sourcing Sr. Category Buyer to lead category management for corporate services including HR, Marketing, Professional Services, Finance/Banking and Legal. You'll keep a pulse on industry trends and business requirements and consult with the business to identify and deploy best practices in procurement, category management, and supplier management. You'll collaborate with various business groups to ensure collaboration with cross-functional teams, to maximize company value, optimize business stakeholder budget, and mitigate risk. This role is pivotal in shaping and executing long-term procurement strategies and delivers competitive advantage through innovative sourcing and streamlined processes, enabling operational excellence and supporting organizational growth. Ideal candidates are self-directed to shape the future of creative advertising and brand content for Safelite. What You Will Do Develop and implement category strategies in collaboration with business stakeholders and leadership to maximize value and minimize cost. Partner with Finance, Operations, Legal, and business leaders to understand needs, influence change, and integrate procurement into overall strategy. Use industry trends, relevant data analysis, internal spend, requirements and supplier performance data to create strategies that will proactively identify and mitigate supply chain risks and service improvements, drive cost savings and optimize opportunities to help our Business meet their goals. Lead the development and execution of sourcing plans and supplier spend management strategies, including handling of complex sourcing projects and contract negotiations that optimize value to the company. Develop and implement enterprise-wide sourcing strategies, leading complex RFx processes (RFIs/RFPs) for critical goods/services, ensuring alignment with business objectives to ensure consistent supply and long-term value creation. Leverage advanced analytics and procurement technology to drive data-informed sourcing strategies and identify optimization opportunities. Develop effective collaborative relationships with key business partners to understand their needs and become a trusted partner to inform and execute on strategic outcomes. Establish supplier positioning and manage strategic relationships with key suppliers, including influencing their processes, resource decisions, performance management and policies to create mutually beneficial and sustainable partnerships. Develop collaborative partnerships across Finance, Operations, Privacy and Legal teams and act as the collaborator to bring teams together and influence a solution and optimize contract structures and content. Maintain accurate and complete records, work with various business groups to simplify processes. Contribute to implementation, planning, and change management of process and technology improvement initiatives across Strategic Sourcing. Ensure adherence to procurement policies and manage the remediation and resolution of sourcing issues and non-compliance. Provide regular communication and training on procurement processes and systems to stakeholders and suppliers. Act as procurement subject matter expert in consulting with the business to identify, develop and deploy best practice procurement, category management and supplier management. Performs other duties as assigned Complies with all policies and standards Education Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field Required Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CPSM, CIPS). Preferred Experience Qualifications 5+ Years of experience in Sourcing & Procurement for Marketing, Creative Marketing or Agency Operations for a brand/client side or related discipline or HR/Benefits.
