Job Purpose: This position is responsible for developing and enhancing our retirement products and services relationships with credit union leaders to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction. The focus of this role is on the credit union and participant satisfaction with current and new retirement programs and ongoing retention of business. The role provides high levels of customer understanding, technical process insights and product knowledge for all retirement products and services. Job Responsibilities: Provide direct support to the credit union sales account teams in National and Region Segments by monitoring service and operational delivery, facilitating the retention and profitability of current relationships, and assisting in exploration of new products/services opportunities with assigned customers. Work with customers face-to-face and virtually. Lead strategic discussions with credit union assigned accounts to review the utilization and success of retirement programs and products. Retain existing retirement business through proactive retention initiatives such as conducting annual Performance Reviews, Trustee meetings, and regular stakeholder visits and reviews. Monitor the performance of the retirement and pension program, including participation and deferral rates. Ensure customer satisfaction with retirement and pension programs by monitoring proactively and identifying performance issues. Work with Customer Operations and Product leadership to track issues, diagnose root causes and develop solutions. Uphold Service Plans with the customer in conducting assessments of program performance and customer satisfaction. Participate in customer acquisition deals at propose or close phase to efforts to engage and take ownership of installation plan and coordination of participant enrollment. Understand and stays abreast of the competitive environment of the financial services industry and credit union marketplace. Conduct self in a manner consistent with established policies and procedures of ethical market conduct with high standards of honesty, fairness and integrity. Foster teamwork and culture that accepts and responds rapidly to change and is action oriented. Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Insurance or related field or an equivalent trade-off of related professional work experience. Minimum of 4 years of proven success in a sales/client service role with retirement products and services. Demonstrated technical knowledge of qualified retirement plans in the credit union marketplace. Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of retirement services provider industry. Proven ability to clearly and effectively communication retirement solutions, product information and services to credit union executives and their employees. Demonstrated effective communication, interpersonal, relationship building, customer service skills. Possess or obtain Life & Health Insurance License, Variable Life and Annuity License, and FINRA Securities Industry Essentials Examination, Series 6 and 63 and Investment Advisor Registration (Series 65), or FINRA equivalent, within 90 days. CLU, ChFC, CFP, or CPA designation preferred. Up to 75% travel required. Compensation may vary based on the job level, your geographic work location, position incentive plan and exemption status.
