Network Technician

Network Technician We are seeking a skilled and motivated Network Technician to join our team in Houston, Texas. This is an onsite position within our Network Operations Center (NOC) environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network technologies. Roles and Responsibilities: Maintain strong working relationships with customers and internal team members. Perform on-site hardware failure support for Netsync Network Support service contracts. Install, configure, and support network appliances. Support customer, vendor, and cross-department relationships related to network support activities. Manage, update, and document support cases in customer, Netsync, and OEM systems. Collaborate with the team to maintain appropriate availability for 24x7 network support coverage. Additional Duties: Contribute to continuous improvement efforts to streamline and automate processes. Assist Netsync's Network Operations Center (NOC) with network support cases as needed. Pursue ongoing technical education and skill development in the networking field. Support end user compute repairs when required. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Attend and contribute to weekly team meetings. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Skills and Experience: Minimum of one year of IT experience. Foundational understanding of networking and security concepts, including routing, switching, and TCP/IP protocols. Ability to routinely lift a minimum of 40 pounds. Strong attention to detail and troubleshooting skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills. Strong customer service orientation. Curiosity and a demonstrated commitment to continuous learning. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Minimum Qualifications/Technical and Education Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent. CCNA certification or equivalent vendor certification (Network+, JNCIA, ACSA). Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
