Unit Coordinator The Glenview at Pelican Bay is a premier continuing care retirement community located in beautiful, sunny Naples, Florida. We are currently considering candidates for a hospitality focused Unit Coordinator. Candidates must have a desire to join a great team dedicated to providing outstanding and superior hospitality. We currently have the following shifts available: Full-time, Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5pm. The Unit Coordinator at The Glenview at Pelican Bay is responsible for managing front desk operations, communications, and administrative tasks. This role includes stocking medical supplies, coordinating resident appointments and transportation, safety and infection control checks, clerical support, and participation in quality improvement activities. The Unit Secretary is responsible for the following services including but not limited to: Opens the reception desk and properly secures all files, keys and equipment in the office area. Communicates to the appropriate parties, promptly and clearly, all messages and material directed to them through the administrative team. Accepts and records, as directed, reservations, appointments, cancellations and the like. Maintain par levels for supplies in the health center. Performs daily, weekly, and monthly safety and infection control checks of the home and grounds, assisting the Administrator for resident safety purpose. Ability to communicate efficiently in English using proper grammar in a pleasant manner. Typing experience with other business machines desirable. Must be able to handle a multiplicity of routine tasks, following specific instructions carefully and general instructions completely. Must pass an extensive criminal background check and drug screen. Many roles in the community may require that we ask about your vaccination status.
