Pharmacist We are accepting applications for a highly skilled and dedicated Pharmacist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pharmacology, excellent communication skills, and a passion for patient care. The Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing expert advice on their use, and ensuring the highest standards of pharmaceutical care. Key Responsibilities: Accurately and efficiently dispense prescription medications and over-the-counter drugs while adhering to all legal and regulatory requirements. Provide personalized consultation to patients regarding the proper use of medications, potential side effects, and interactions with other drugs or food. Review and verify medication orders, ensuring appropriateness and safety. Monitor patient medication therapy and provide recommendations for modifications as needed. Maintain accurate patient records, including medication history, allergies, and current treatments. Ensure compliance with legal and organizational documentation standards. Work closely with healthcare providers to discuss and resolve medication-related issues. Collaborate with other pharmacy staff and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Oversee inventory levels, including ordering and stocking medications. Ensure proper storage and handling of pharmaceutical products. Educate patients and their families about medication management, health conditions, and preventive care measures. Adhere to all state and federal regulations, including maintaining confidentiality and following ethical practices. Participate in quality assurance programs to ensure the highest standards of pharmaceutical care and safety. Qualifications: Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited institution. Valid and active pharmacist license in Michigan. Three years of experience in a pharmacy setting preferred (not required). Experience in community pharmacy is a plus. Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, and pharmaceutical calculations. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented, empathetic, and committed to providing exceptional patient care. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
