Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 02/28/2026 Duration: 15 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2304.00 Opportunity:RN - ICU Job Details:• Work in a lower acuity ICU with 11 beds• Patient ratios of 1:2-3 (both days and nights) based on acuity• 2-3 years of ICU experience required• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS• Must be comfortable floating to the Cardiac unit• One shift orientation to learn unit flow• Weekend rotation every other weekend (default)• On-call responsibilities vary based on unit needs• Holiday coverage varies based on unit need• Professional scrubs of any color required• Free parking available for employees in designated areas• Skills required include reading/interpreting strips, ventilator management, chest tubes, tracheostomies, line management, proning experience• Responsible for bedside and nursing station telemetry monitoring (no telemetry technician in ICU)• Patient types include general ICU, stroke (TNK), medical, surgical, behavioral health, overdoses, post cardiac arrest, and ventilator patients• Charting system: EPIC• Equipment includes Alaris and Pyxis systems• Support includes CNA (1:7 ratio), charge nurse takes patient assignment, phlebotomy for peripheral draws, IV/VAT team during dayshift M/W/F, 24/7 RT and hospitalist coverage• Intensivist coverage 0600-1800, eICU coverage 1800-0600 Facility:This healthcare facility is a 101-bed hospital that serves as a Level IV Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center.
