In this Network Administrator position you will make impacts in the following ways; Maintains smooth operation of a variety of networks. Plans, evaluates, designs, and coordinates installation and/or reconfiguration of hardware and software elements of data and/or voice communication network. Maintains technical expertise in all areas of networks and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing. Provides regular monitoring and network analysis regarding short- and long-range planning for in-house systems. This position will be posted for at least 5 calendar days. The posting will remain active until the position is filled, or a qualified pool of candidates is identified. Required Skills and Education An Active Secret Security Clearance and CompTIA Security+ or equivalent DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification. Experience troubleshooting and resolving complex problems in a production environment Minimum of a High School Diploma and 3 or more years of relevant experience Ability to independently research solutions to problems and propose viable solutions Ability to work with multiple teams to accomplish complex tasks Comfortable working with multiple vendors in a heterogeneous environment Technical skills Familiarity with at least one virtualization platform Good understanding of Cisco technologies Experience with LAN switching technologies such as VLANS, spanning tree, and ether-channel Capable of configuring network routing protocols such as Static OSPF & BGP Comfortable with Firewall routing, policy, and inspection Familiarity with configuring and managing NAT devices Experience with IP-Sec VPNs and GRE Preferred Skills and Education Experience with various WAN technologies such as MPLS and Ethernet Familiarity with networking requirements for high performance storage systems Familiarity with multicast technologies and anycast routing Experience with high speed Ethernet technologies (25GB, 40GB, & 100GB physical implementation) Experience in base networking architecture support Technical skills Familiarity with Juniper networking hardware and technologies
