Best in Business, 2022 POSITION:The Electrical Wireman Level 1 positions involve assisting with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, following NEC regulations, and using various tools. Candidates should have a basic understanding of electrical systems, proficiency with tools, and strong attention to detail and safety. Wireman 1 is an entry-level position focused on learning foundational electrical skills, assisting journeymen, and performing basic tasks under close supervision. RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist with basic installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.Follow NEC requirements under supervision.Use basic hand tools and assist with power tools.Support troubleshooting efforts.Help inspect for visible damage or safety hazards.Maintain clean, organized work areas and tools.Communicate issues or needs to senior team members.Wear proper PPE and follow all safety rules.Begin learning to read blueprints and technical diagrams. QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent preferredHas worked as helper approx. 6 months.Has basic knowledge of electrical material.Ability to perform tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs., ending, crawling, climbing, kneeling, balancing, pushing, and pulling. Strong attention to detail and safety awareness. Willingness to learn and follow instructions from experienced electricians. Has own apprentice tools as specified by the company.Basic math skills for measuring and calculating electrical loads.
