Job Description

CDL Driver The CDL Driver will perform duties associated with transporting hazardous and non-hazardous waste between Reworld facilities and client sites. Drivers will operate a box truck to complete these routes, ensuring safe handling and timely delivery of materials. Primary Responsibilities: Drive commercial vehicles to safely transport goods/materials over long distances according to established safety procedures and DOT regulations while meeting scheduled appointments Drive trucks and operate specialized pump equipment on vehicles to load, unload, or disperse cargo or materials. Perform pre/post trip inspections of vehicle and equipment Additional Responsibilities: Administrative tasks and paperwork as it relates to transportation of hazardous/non-hazardous materials and vehicle/equipment maintenance (i.e., manifests, bills of lading, medical waste tracking, logs, delivery receipts, vehicle inspections, incident reports, etc.) Ensure the placarding of the vehicle meets DOT regulations. Maintain clear communication with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers regarding instructions, delivery status and any potential delays, etc. Responsible for safety of fellow employees, clients and the public while operating company vehicles and/or performing any company activity Interpret maps and follow written and verbal geographic directions Complete additional assigned duties Required Qualifications: CDL Class B license required Must be 21 years or older, due to interstate travel in a commercial vehicle and federal regulations. Acceptable driving record. Ability to Interpret maps and follow written and verbal geographic directions Hazmat endorsement Preferred Qualifications: High School Diploma / GED preferred. Tanker endorsement is preferred but not required. 2+ years of commercial driving experience, including tanker experience preferred. The range below reflects Reworld's reasonable estimate of base pay for this role based on primary posting location. It is expected that most qualified candidates in this location will fall within the posting range. The final salary offered for this role will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to: experience, education, geographic location, skills and competencies, travel requirements and/or union contracts (if applicable). Pay ranges are reviewed from time to time and may be modified in the future. The pay range for the primary location of this position is: $43,100.00 - $57,400.00 USD. For hourly roles, this is the annualized salary. To calculate the hourly rate, divide by 2080.
