Quality Control Technician II Temp Project Location: Phoenix, AZ Schedule: MondayFriday, 6:00 AM 3:00 PM Pay Rate: $29/hour Assignment Length: Up to 2 months depending on need About the Role We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Technician II to support our manufacturing team on a temporary basis. This role plays a key part in product quality verificationensuring electro-mechanical components, assemblies, and finished products meet required specifications. You will perform inspections, testing, documentation, and support continual improvement efforts within an ISO 9001:2015 environment. Key Responsibilities Inspect mechanical, electrical, and electro-mechanical components and assemblies for conformance to specifications. Perform inspections using drawings, specification sheets, and quality standards. Conduct first-article inspections for manufactured and vendor-supplied products. Generate inspection plans and complete product testing under Quality/Engineering guidance. Perform manufacturing audits to ensure procedures and test plans are followed. Initiate nonconformance reports for items not meeting specifications. Complete ERP transactions, verify lot/serial numbers, and maintain inspection records. Support ISO 9001:2015 continual improvement initiatives and departmental metrics. Communicate defects, testing results, and root cause information with internal teams. Required Experience 5+ years as a QC Inspector/Technician working with electro-mechanical components (preferred). 2+ years of manufacturing or assembly experience. Experience working in regulated industries preferred. ISO 9001:2015 experience is a plus. Knowledge & Skills Proficient using micrometers, calipers, gauges, pin gauges, dial indicators. Ability to program/operate inspection lab equipment: CMM, FARO/Hexagon Scanning Arm, Keyence IM, comparator, height gauge/surface plate. Strong ability to read technical drawings and interpret GD&T. Ability to gather, analyze, and report measurement data. Experience with Microsoft Office and ERP systems. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. Frequent standing, walking, and use of hands for inspection tasks. Ability to work in both office and manufacturing environments with exposure to machinery and noise.
