Job Description

Planate Management Group (PMG) is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) located in Alexandria, Virginia, and Orlando, Florida, providing essential program management and facilities engineering services worldwide. We are currently seeking a highly experienced Senior Construction Inspector to oversee and ensure the successful execution of a critical federal healthcare project at Bay Pines, FL. This role plays a vital part in ensuring adherence to construction standards, safety protocols, and project specifications while maintaining exceptional quality across all project phases. This is a 12-month contract position, with four optional years contingent upon the award of the Task Order. Duties and Responsibilities: Provide expert oversight of construction activities to ensure alignment with project schedules, specifications, and safety standards. Review and manage Requests for Information (RFIs), change orders, submittal logs, and construction design documents. Maintain comprehensive records of project progress and generate related reports. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and federal construction standards. Contribute to effective project management and oversight to support the client's mission. General Requirements: A minimum of 10 years of specialized experience in construction management, particularly in healthcare, commercial, or institutional buildings. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture from an accredited university; educational requirements may be substituted with 14 years of directly related experience. Strong familiarity with construction documentation, regulatory compliance, and reporting processes. Experience working on federal projects, especially in healthcare facilities. Completion of a 10-hour OSHA Safety Training Class. Proven track record in enforcing compliance, quality standards, and safety on construction sites. Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, with experience in report preparation and management briefings. Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, resolve conflicts, and tackle complex problems effectively. Why Planate?
