Position Description As a Maintenance Specialist, you will perform essential preventative maintenance tasks, including tile work, minor electrical repairs, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and wallpapering. You will provide emergency repairs as needed and conduct scheduled maintenance of equipment during normal working hours. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Implement a preventative maintenance program for building and equipment, ensuring cleanliness, adjustments, lubrication, and tightening are regularly performed. Assist field service technicians in addressing maintenance issues as required. Identify and report field service concerns to the maintenance director. Maintain organized files, records, and reports of all maintenance information. Support restaurant operations through effective maintenance and repair programs. Carry out routine and emergency equipment repairs and liaise with outside vendors when necessary. Ensure efficient operations of the restaurants while protecting company assets. Adjust work hours periodically, including evening and weekend availability, as required. Be on-call every other weekend, with potential night work constituting up to 20% of your time. Qualifications Reliable and self-motivated individual. Formal education in HVACR. Must maintain a clean driving record. Able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks involving reaching, bending, and stooping. Capable of working in varied environments, including exposure to wet floors, temperature extremes, and loud noises. Ability to respond effectively in emergency situations to ensure safety. Education and Experience A minimum of five (5) years in a related maintenance role. At least two years of installation experience, focusing on professional development.
