Clinical Resource Nurse (Electrophysiology)

Cottage Hospital's Interventional Suites seek a Registered Nurse (RN) to assist with transesophageal echocardiogram preparation, sedation and recovery in the cardiology procedure rooms. Goal: To render professional nursing care pursuant to the goals, objectives, and policies of Cottage Health System, following the standards of practice. To manage quality care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Qualifications: All job qualifications listed indicate the minimum level necessary to perform this job proficiently. Education: Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree. Certifications, Licenses, Registrations: Minimum: California Registered Nurse (RN) license; American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) Preferred: Certified Perianesthesia Nurse (CPAN) Years of Related Work Experience: Minimum: The ideal candidate will possess 2+ years' recent Procedural Sedation, Critical Care, PACU, or Emergency Medicine experience. This position does not require call, or weekend shifts.
