AR Clerk (Direct Bill)

Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking a AR Clerk to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $28 to $33 per hour. Job Responsibilities: Generate and send out invoices to customers in a timely manner. Monitor and follow up on outstanding payments, ensuring timely collection. Reconcile customer accounts and resolve any discrepancies or issues. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all accounts receivable transactions. Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable status and aging. Assess and manage customer credit limits and terms. Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations. Apply payments received to the appropriate customer accounts. Communicate with customers regarding billing inquiries and payment issues. Assist with month-end closing processes and other accounting tasks as needed. Qualifications/Experience: HS Diploma or equivalent. Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred. 1-2 years of accounting or AR, AP or GL filed experience. Proficiency with MS Office (Strong Excel) and accounting software's. High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data entry and record keeping. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to resolve billing and payment issues efficiently. Great customer service skills and a professional demeanor.
