Construction Project Scheduler (Primavera P6) Virginia Beach, VA (In-Person) S.B. Ballard Construction Company is looking for a highly organized Construction Project Scheduler to support our project teams through preconstruction, design, procurement, and construction. If you build logic-driven CPM schedules (not just date updates) and you can communicate schedule risks clearly, we want to talk. What youll do: Develop and maintain CPM schedules in Primavera P6 from preconstruction through closeout Manage baseline schedules, monthly updates, narratives, and custom reports Collect and validate progress updates from the field (actuals, remaining duration, % complete) Integrate submittal/procurement timelines and key vendor lead times into the schedule Analyze critical path / near-critical, float trends, variances, and risks to milestones Support two-week lookaheads, recovery schedules, and sequencing plans with project teams Assist with proposal and bid schedules during pursuits What were looking for: 5+ years of construction scheduling experience (GC preferred) Strong proficiency in Primavera P6 and advanced Excel skills Ability to read construction drawings and build realistic logic and phasing Clear communication, strong organization, and deadline discipline Location: Virginia Beach, VA (in-person; commuting distance required) Benefits: 401(k) with match, health/dental/vision, life insurance, PTO
