Your recruiter will provide the most up-to-date details during the hiring process.How you’ll make an impact in this roleWe are looking for a PRN Board Certified OBGYN MD/DO with 2 years experience for our new OB Hospitalist program.The OB Hospitalist will be responsible for: Management of labor up to and including delivery, as requested by generalist physicians Urgent postpartum care as requested by the assigned physician No midwives or care for unassigned patients Caring for all unassigned patients who present to the OB Unit or Emergency Room Triage of all patients who present to the unit unless directly admitted When necessary perform cesarean deliveries Perform circumcisions Communicate with Maternal Fetal Medicine on consults & actions when requested Level IV hospital and nursery Level IV maternity center and NICU 24hr dedicated OB anesthesia Outpatient Office hours as needed Rapidly growing suburban market with mostly private payer mix Location includes - Womens & Infants Hospital Call Schedule: dedicated on-site call coverage with frequency and responsibilities as noted aboveProjected 2000 deliveries/year.About Ascension St. Vincent Medical Group As a member of the largest non-profit health system in the U.S. and the world’s largest Catholic health system, Ascension Medical Group St. Vincent is a comprehensive network of over 650 primary care and specialty care providers, recognized nationally and internationally.
