The Lottery FieldServices Technician is responsible for servicing Brightstar equipment at retailer (customer) locations and will bepart of our award-winning lottery services organization. The Field Service Technician maintains service equipmentat Retailer (customer) locations. Responds to dispatches and drives to customer locations within a specified "zone"to deliver supplies and to install, remove, or repair lottery equipment and communication devices.Responsible for transporting, installing (if applicable), and maintaining Brightstar equipment, replacement parts,tools, and other equipment in an organized and structured manner.Attend driver training and follow Brightstar's vehicle policy regarding the use and maintenance of companyvehicles.Maintain equipment to promote the continuous operation of Brightstar equipment.Troubleshoot malfunctioning equipment to restore it to working order in the field. This may include swapping failedequipment, cleaning it, and making minor adjustments to the malfunctioning component.Communicate effectivelyand efficiently with Dispatchers. Accurately report activity, arrival and departure times, problems, details, andresolutions of failures to Dispatch.Deliver marketing supplies and consumable parts, such as paper, ribbons, and bet slips, and track the inventory ofthese items.Deliver basic training to new retailers or refresher/remedial training to retailers performing procedures incorrectly,such as changing paper and ribbon.Complete primary forms for reporting activities, equipment problems, recommendations for procedure improvementsQualificationsQualificationsHigh school degree or GED equivalent required.1 - 2 years of experience in a customer service related position1 -2 years of experience in technical repairsMust possess a valid driver's license, have a good driving record and demonstrate the ability to correctly perceive colors.Building Brighter FuturesBrightstar employees receive the following employment benefits (all benefits mentioned are subject to policy andeligibility requirements):Company vehicle to take home for work use only (Field Services only, depending on location)Medical benefits on day one of being a Brightstar employee12 paid holidays plus two floating holidays per year (new hires will receive floating holidays on a pro-rated basisaccording to their start date)3 weeks of paid vacation (accrued) per year, prorated first yearAccrued sick time401 (k) with employer match and 100% vested on day oneCompany-paid parental leave, life insurance, short-term disability, and long-term disabilitySuccess Profile• Leading Complexity• Leading People• Leading the Business• Leading SelfAt Brightstar, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range for this role is $20.00 – $23.50/hr. The actual pay offered may be higher or lower. The Company complies with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.Base pay is one part of our Total Rewards program. Non-exempt roles are eligible for irregular discretionary bonuses.
