Provides divisional leadership oversight of service line initiatives and staff. Collaborates with regional and multistate Acute Care Services (ACS) and Integrated Health Services (IHS) to standardize care and develop destination care programs. Collaborates with private and employed physicians to advance institute initiatives. Provides consultative services to Division hospitals as requested. Leverages the Clinical Integration Network (CIN) to deliver clinical value, quality, and safety. Travels nationally and internationally to conferences and other facilities to gain a deeper understanding of institute programs. Manages and oversees service line level programs, symposiums, fellowships, Academic and Center of Excellence Programs. Develops curriculum for educational events, including case observations, continuing medical education events, fellowship activities, physician grand rounds, wet lab courses, cases, and tours. Submits grant requests, markets events, and troubleshoots issues. Manages allocated budgets for events and maintains educational grants for academic programs. Manages the orientation process for national and international physician observers participating in Academic and Center of Excellence programs. Collaborates with Administration to onboard new physicians, assess current physicians and physician programs, and increase knowledge on new techniques and healthcare trends.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:• Knowledge of medical terminology [Required]• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
