Following a successful VC funding round, the need is for a high-impact Controller to own their financial engine. This isn't just a management role-it is a defined path to CFO for the right leader. What You'll Do Lead Finance: Oversee all accounting operations, monthly closes, and ASC 606 revenue recognition. Scale the Future: Transition the tech stack from QBO to a mid-market ERP (NetSuite/Intacct) and build out the finance team. Strategic Insights: Drive SaaS-specific reporting (ARR, Churn, LTV/CAC) and build complex financial models to guide the CEO and Board. Compliance & Treasury: Manage cash flow, tax strategy, external audits, and internal controls. CFO Apprenticeship: Partner directly with the CEO on investor relations, capital planning, and M&A evaluation. What You Bring The Credentials: Active CPA and 7+ years of progressive finance experience (3+ in leadership). The Expertise: Deep SaaS/Subscription background is a must. You know how to translate GAAP into growth metrics. The Tech: Mastery of QuickBooks Online, Stripe, and R experience with ERP migrations is a huge plus. The Mindset: A "builder" mentality.
